There are numerous support programs provided by TEYDEB to contribute to our country's private sector organizations achieving an internationally competitive structure in research-technology development, technology management and innovation. 

In contrast to existing support programs, a new call “1701-R&D Project Evaluation and Monitoring Call” will be opened in 2024.This call aims to evaluate and monitor the R&D content, innovative aspect, work and cost planning and the convertibility of project outputs into economic benefit and national gain of the projects of SMEs and large-scale capital institutions located in Turkey, without providing any financial support.

With this call, companies that successfully complete their projects in line with their goals without financial support from TUBITAK will have the opportunity to apply for and benefit from other existing incentives in our country. Furthermore, organizations will be able to carry out projects with their own resources, providing the opportunity to increase their financial performance by accurately planning project costs. Within the scope of the call, it is expected that the competence of organizations in conducting R&D and innovation projects will be sustainable, directing towards the development of high value-added technological products, and contributing to sustainable economic growth through project outputs.

The first call for 1701-R&D Project Evaluation and Monitoring will be opened on 2- September 2024. 

Within this call:

• SMEs and large-scale capital companies located in Turkey, regardless of their sector, will be able to apply.

• Joint applications can be made.

• The budget for the projects to be applied for is a minimum of 5.000.000 TL, and there is no upper limit for project budgets.

• An application fee will be charged for each project during the application through PRODIS, according to the amount determined by the Presidency of TUBİTAK.

Ülkemiz özel sektör kuruluşlarının, araştırma-teknoloji geliştirme, teknoloji yönetimi ve yenilikçilikte uluslararası düzeyde rekabetçi bir yapıya ulaşmalarına katkı sağlamak için TEYDEB tarafından birçok destek programı bulunmaktadır. 

Mevcut destek programlarından farklı olarak 2024 yılında Türkiye’de yerleşik KOBİ'ler ve büyük ölçekli sermaye kuruluşlarının yenilikçi ve Ar-Ge niteliği yüksek projelerinin mali destek verilmeden Ar-Ge içeriği, yenilikçi yönü, proje iş ve maliyet planlaması ile proje çıktılarının ekonomik yarara ve ulusal kazanca dönüşebilirliğinin değerlendirilmesi ve izlemesinin yapılmasını amaçlayan 1701-Ar-Ge Proje Değerlendirme ve İzleme Çağrısı açılacaktır.

Bu çağrı ile birlikte, TÜBİTAK’tan mali destek almadan projelerini hedefleri doğrultusunda başarıyla tamamlayan firmalar, ülkemizdeki mevcut diğer teşviklere başvurma ve bu teşviklerden yararlanma fırsatı elde edebilecektir. Ayrıca, kuruluşların kendi öz kaynaklarıyla proje yürütebilmesi, proje maliyetlerini doğru şekilde planlayarak finansal performansının arttırılmasına imkan sağlanacaktır. Çağrı kapsamında kuruluşların Ar-Ge ve yenilik projeleri yapabilme yetkinliğinin sürdürülebilir olması, yüksek katma değerli teknolojik ürün geliştirme çalışmalarına yönlendirilmesi, proje çıktılarının sürdürülebilir ekonomik büyümeye katkı sağlaması beklenmektedir.

1701-Ar-Ge Proje Değerlendirme ve İzleme Çağrısının ilki 2 Eylül 2024’te açılacaktır. 

Bu  çağrı kapsamında;

• Sektörüne bakılmaksızın Türkiye’de yerleşik KOBİ'ler ve büyük ölçekli sermaye şirketleri başvuruda bulunabilecektir. 

• Ortaklı başvuru yapılabilecektir.

• Başvuru yapılacak projelerin bütçesi en az 5.000.000 TL olup  proje bütçesi üst sınırı bulunmamaktadır.

• PRODİS üzerinden yapılan başvuruda proje başına Başkanlığımızca belirlenen miktar kadar başvuru ücreti alınacaktır. 

• Çağrı kapsamına başvuru yapacak firmaların,  proje bütçesi ve projenin ayrıntılı gider kalemlerini proje öneri formunda sunması beklenmektedir.

The call has been announced to support research, development and innovation projects regarding the climate, environmental and sustainability issues. In this regard The Belmont Forum invites the researchers for project proposals that address at least one of the following three themes:

• Theme 1: Water – Energy – Food – Health Nexus

• Theme 2: Pollution

• Theme 3: Disaster Preparedness, Responsiveness, and Recovery

• The international consortiums that will present projects within the scope of the relevant call must consist of institutions or organizations in at least 3 different call partner countries.

• Applications must be made in English, with all necessary information and forms, at https://bfgo.org by 2 September 2024 (20:00 UTC). (The project coordinator will make a single international application on behalf of the project consortium.)

• In addition to the international application, partners applying from Türkiye must submit a national pre-application to TÜBİTAK at https://uidb-pbs.tubitak.gov.tr/  by 10 September 2024 23:59 (UTC+3). 

• Project proposals submitted from our country within the scope of this call will be supported under the TÜBİTAK 1071 Program.

Belmont Forum Afrika Bölgesel Ortak Araştırma Aksiyonu çağrısı açılmıştır. Söz konusu çağrı ile iklim, çevre ve sürdürülebilirlik konularındaki araştırma, geliştirme ve yenilik projelerinin desteklenmesi hedeflenmektedir. Çağrı için aşağıdaki üç temadan en az birini ele alan araştırma önerilerinin sunulması beklenmektedir:

The Technology and Innovation Support Programs Directorate (TEYDEB) conducts the 1501-Industrial R&D Support Program and the 1507-SME R&D Startup Support Program to support the project-based research, technology development, and innovation activities of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises. Two calls are opened each year under these programs.

Notes on Call Schedule

1. In order to apply, an organization-based pre-registration application must be submitted to TUBITAK. The specified date is the deadline for sending the organization-based pre-registration application to TÜBİTAK via PRODİS. Pre-registration documents must reach TUBITAK at least one business day before the call closing date. If pre-registration approval cannot be given due to deficiencies in organization-based pre-registration documents, the responsibility belongs to the organization. There is no need to wait for the call opening date for organization-based pre-registration. For this reason, companies planning to apply for the call are recommended to carry out organization-based pre-registration without wasting time. 

2. Organizations that have previously received organization-based pre-registration approval will not pre-register on an organization basis again and will not send pre-registration documents. 

3. This is the deadline for project proposals to be sent via PRODİS. Organization-based pre-registration approval must be obtained for submission. IMPORTANT REMINDER: Since the project proposals will be sent with e-signature, the e-signature must be provided or, in case of e-signature, the e-signature validity periods must be checked, and the e-signature must be renewed if the e-signature expires until the call closing date.

1. Başvuru yapabilmek için kuruluş bazlı ön kayıt başvurusunun TÜBİTAK’a ulaştırılması gerekir. Belirtilen tarih, kuruluş bazlı ön kayıt başvurusunun PRODİS üzerinden TÜBİTAK’a gönderilmesi için son tarihtir. Ön kayıt evraklarının çağrı kapanış tarihinden en az bir iş günü öncesinde TÜBİTAK’a ulaşması gerekir. Kuruluş bazlı ön kayıt evraklarındaki eksiklik nedeniyle ön kayıt onayının verilememesi durumunda sorumluluk kuruluşa aittir. Kuruluş bazlı ön kayıt için çağrı açılış tarihinin beklenmesine gerek yoktur. Bu nedenle çağrıya başvuru yapmayı planlayan firmaların zaman kaybetmeden kuruluş bazlı ön kayıt işlemleri gerçekleştirmesi tavsiye edilir. 

2. Daha önce kuruluş bazlı ön kayıt onayı alan kuruluşlar tekrar kuruluş bazlı ön kayıt yaptırmayacak ve ön kayıt evrakı göndermeyecektir.

3. Proje önerilerinin PRODİS üzerinden gönderilebileceği son tarihtir. Gönderim için kuruluş bazlı ön kayıt onayı alınmış olması zorunludur.

ÖNEMLİ HATIRLATMA: Proje önerileri e-imza ile gönderileceğinden, e-imzanın temin edilmesi veya e-imzanın olması durumunda e-imza geçerlilik sürelerinin kontrol edilerek çağrı kapanış tarihine kadar e-imza süresinin bitecek olması durumunda e-imzanın yenilenmesi gerekmektedir.

İnsanlığın karşılaştığı sorunlardan bahsederken başta Filistin olmak üzere farklı coğrafyalarda yaşanan haksızlıklar karşısında duyduğum derin endişe ve üzüntüyü de ifade etmek isterim. 

Dünyanın farklı noktalarında kimi zaman yanı başımızda kimi zaman ise bizden çok uzak coğrafyalarda yaşanan insanlık dramlarına karşı bilim ve teknoloji ile her zaman daha iyiyi ve güzeli inşa etme çabası ile hareket etmeye özen gösterdik.

Kurumumuzun kurulduğu günden itibaren ülkemizin her daim benimsediği barış ve adalet kavramlarını TÜBİTAK olarak biz de insanlığa hizmet etme çabamız ile bağdaştırmaktayız. 

Bilimin ve teknolojinin her alanda, insanları ve toplumları daha iyiye taşıması gerektiğine inanıyoruz. Bilimden ve teknolojiden; acı olayları körükleyen değil, düzelten bir misyon ile insanlığın huzurunu tesis etmek amacıyla yararlanılması gerektiği inancıyla çalışıyoruz.

In 2024, awards will be given in four categories as TÜBİTAK Science, Special, Service and Incentive Awards by The Scientific And Technological Research Council of Türkiye.

TÜBİTAK Science Award: It is awarded to living scientists who have made significant contributions to science at the international level with their studies in Türkiye.

TÜBİTAK Speacial Award: As an equivalent of the Science Award, it is given to living scientists who are citizens of the Republic of Türkiye and have contributed to science at the international level with their studies abroad.

TÜBİTAK Service Award: It is awarded to people who have made outstanding services to the development of science and technology in Türkiye. Deceased scientists may also be nominated for the Service Award.

TÜBİTAK Incentive Award: It is given to scientists residing in Türkiye who have proven through their studies that they have the qualifications to make significant contributions to science at the international level in the future. The candidate should be under the age of 40 on the first day of the year when the award is given. Application and Evaluation Process

Candidates for the Incentive Award can apply personally or be nominated. Individual applications cannot be made for the Science, Special and Service Awards, a nomination is required.

The following institutions or individuals can nominate to TÜBİTAK Science, Special, Service and Incentive Awards 

• Those who have received TÜBİTAK Science, Special, Service Award or TÜBİTAK-TWAS Science Award in the past

• Council of Higher Education

• Türkiye Academy Of Sciences

• Senates or Boards of Directors of Universities

• The highest decision-making bodies of public and private sector institutions and organizations operating in scientific and technological fields

• TÜBİTAK R&D and R&D Facility Units Boards of Directors and TÜBİTAK Research Groups Executive Committees (in their fields of activity). 

Applications for TÜBİTAK Science, Special, Service and Incentive Awards are made through the Awards Application System, which can be accessed at https://oduller.tubitak.gov.tr The candidate who will apply for the award and the nominating person or the highest official of the institution/organization must have a current registration in ARBİS, otherwise they must complete a "New User Registration". 

The requested documents must be completely uploaded to the Application System. 

After the application phase is completed, the "Acceptance Commitment and Declaration Form" must be signed with an e-signature by the candidate and the person nominating the candidate or the highest authorized manager of the nominating institution/organization. Candidates who are abroad and cannot use e-signature during the application can sign the printout of the application form and send the scanned version of the relevant form first by e-mail and then by mail or courier to our contact address below. 

The nominator must add the type of award which has previously received from TÜBİTAK and the year of receiving the award to the relevant tab in the application system. If the nominator is the university senate/board of directors, the rector's signature must be present in the application system. If the vice rector has been given power of attorney regarding the work and transactions related to TÜBİTAK Award applications, or if the vice rector is deputizing the rector at the time the application is made, the relevant power of attorney document must be uploaded to the system.

Only one of the Science, Special, Service and Incentive Award categories can be applied in the same period.

Applications can be made maximum 3 times for each type of award: Science, Special, Service and Incentive Awards. Applications made before 2010 are not included in this number.

Candidates born in 1983 or before cannot apply for the Incentive Award.

Scientists who won the TÜBA-GEBİP Award in 2021, 2022 and 2023 can apply for the 2024 TÜBİTAK Incentive Award even if they are over 40 years old.

For female applicants, one year is added to the age limit of 40 for each birth.

Those who applied for the TÜBA GEBİP - Outstanding Young Scientist Awards (GEBİP) and the TÜBA International Academy Awards in 2024 cannot apply for the TÜBİTAK Science, Special, Service and Incentive Awards in 2024.

For Science, Special and Incentive Awards; Candidates are expected to explain their reasons for deserving the award in a maximum of 750 words and to support this explanation with publications to which primary contributions have been made. A copy of the 5 publications specified in the "Publications Selected Within the Framework of Reason" heading should be uploaded to the "Additional Files". The candidate's contributions to these 5 publications and the candidate’s contribution to these publications should be explained in a maximum of 250 words. If the candidate has contributed to more than one subject, all but the most significant contribution should be separated by subject. A copy of each of the maximum 15 publications under the heading "Other Scientific Publications within the Framework of Justification" should be uploaded to the "Additional Files" and a description text not exceeding 500 words should be added.

Publications that constitute a primary contribution to a candidate's application (The 5 Publications Selected Within the Framework of the Reason) cannot be used in another candidate's application for the same type of award. TÜBİTAK has the right to investigate the statement for publications declared to have made primary contributions. Although it is declared that the candidate has made a primary contribution to the relevant publication, if it is determined that the candidate has not made a primary contribution to any of these publications, the application will not be evaluated. In addition, “The 5 Publications Selected Within the Framework of the Reason” must be independent of the candidate's doctorate study.

For the Service Award; applications must include the reasons why candidates deserve the award and the relevant document supporting these reasons, if any. In the justification; It should be explained in a maximum of 750 words within the scope of the following subjects;

• To train scientists

• To work for the institutionalization of the branch of science in which the candidate belongs to

• How the candidate has provided superior service to the development of science and technology in Türkiye, 

• Establishing or significantly contributing to the establishment of scientific institutions and organizations.

TÜBİTAK Science, Special and Service Awards are given in the fields of Basic Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Health Sciences, Social and Human Sciences. The Incentive Award is given in the fields of Basic Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Health Sciences, Social and Human Sciences, Polar Studies. 

The number of Science Awards cannot exceed eight, the number of Special Awards cannot exceed four, the number of Service Awards cannot exceed four, and the number of Incentive Awards cannot exceed twenty.

Plaques and certificates are given according to the type of the awards. Science, Special and Incentive Awards include in-kind or cash awards determined by the TÜBİTAK Board of Directors each year. To be used in their domestic research, Science and Incentive Award winners are also given research support in an amount determined by the Board of Directors each year (1,650,000TL for 2024).

All evaluations and opinions formed during the award evaluation process, as well as the names of the referees/advisors whose evaluations were consulted and the opinions given by them, are confidential and are outside the scope of the right to information in accordance with the first paragraph of Article 26 of Law No. 4982.

Applications will be accepted until 30/06/2024, at 17.00 (UTC+3).

The winners of the Science, Special, Service and Incentive Awards are announced in the same year and the awards are given to their winners at a ceremony.

55. LİSE ÖĞRENCİLERİ ARAŞTIRMA PROJELERİ FİNAL YARIŞMASI SONUÇLARI

Kurumumuz tarafından düzenlenen 55. Lise Öğrencileri Araştırma Projeleri Yarışması’nın final sergisi ve ödül töreni, 26-30 Mayıs 2024 tarihleri arasında Ankara’da yüz yüze olarak düzenlenmiştir.

Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem Call, by benefiting from the knowledge of university/public research centres and institutes, artificial intelligence technologies developed by companies established in Türkiye and committed to applying the project results in Türkiye. It contributes to the transformation of companies that need artificial intelligence solutions into products or solutions in line with their needs.

Within the scope of this program, five priority areas will be supported in the first phase. These priority areas

(4) Climate Change and Sustainability

determined as.

In this support mechanism, customer organizations that need artificial intelligence solutions must have at least one company experienced in this field as a technology provider. Forming a consortium with at least one university research laboratory/centre or public research centre/institute and TÜBİTAK Artificial Intelligence Institute is expected. The consortium that will apply for the project must sign a cooperation agreement before applying.

Project applications can be made through TEYDEB Project Evaluation Monitoring System (PRODİS). 3 June 2024 - 31 July 2024, 23:59 (UTC+3) It will be taken within the date range.

Pre-registration processes 29 July 2024, 17:30 (UTC+3) It must be completed by, and the necessary documents must be submitted to TÜBİTAK.

Organizations that have completed the pre-registration process can submit their project proposals to TÜBİTAK via PRODİS until the relevant date.

Yapay Zekâ Ekosistem Çağrısı, üniversite/kamu araştırma merkez ve enstitülerindeki bilgi birikiminden faydalanılarak, Türkiye’de yerleşik ve proje sonuçlarını Türkiye’de uygulamayı taahhüt eden şirketlerimizin geliştirdiği yapay zekâ teknolojilerinin; yapay zekâ çözümlerine kendi bünyelerinde ihtiyaç duyan şirketlerimizin ihtiyaçları doğrultusunda ürün ya da çözümlere dönüştürülmesine katkı sağlamaktadır. 

Bu program kapsamında ilk aşamada beş öncelikli alan desteklenecektir. Bu öncelikli alanlar 

(1) Akıllı Üretim Sistemleri, 

(2) Akıllı Tarım, Gıda ve Hayvancılık, 

(3) Finans Teknolojileri, 

(4) İklim Değişikliği ve Sürdürülebilirlik

(5) Akıllı Eğitim Teknolojileri

 olarak belirlenmiştir. 

Bu destek modelinde, yapay zekâ çözümlerine ihtiyaç duyan müşteri kuruluşların, teknoloji sağlayıcı olarak en az bir şirket, bu konuda tecrübeli en az bir üniversite araştırma laboratuvarı/merkezi ya da kamu araştırma merkezi/enstitüsü ve TÜBİTAK Yapay Zekâ Enstitüsü ile konsorsiyum oluşturmaları beklenmektedir. Proje başvurusu yapacak konsorsiyumun başvuru öncesi bir iş birliği sözleşmesi imzalaması gerekmektedir.

Proje başvuruları TEYDEB Proje Değerlendirme İzleme Sistemi (PRODİS) üzerinden 3 Haziran 2024 -  31 Temmuz 2024 (saat 23:59) tarih aralığında alınacaktır.

Ön kayıt işlemlerinin 29 Temmuz 2024, saat: 17:30’a kadar tamamlanması ve gerekli belgelerin TÜBİTAK’a iletilmesi gerekmektedir.

Ön kayıt işlemlerini tamamlamış olan kuruluşlar ise, proje önerilerini ilgili tarihe kadar PRODİS üzerinden TÜBİTAK’a sunabilirler.
