TÜBİTAK R&D and Innovation Day in Marmara Region of Turkey
TÜBİTAK organized the 2nd R&D and Innovation Day in Marmara Region in Edirne on February 24th, 2011 under the auspices of State Minister Prof. Dr. Mehmet AYDIN. The meeting was realized with the presence of the president of TÜBİTAK, Prof. Dr. Nüket YETİŞ, representatives from the four provinces of the region including governors, university presidents, presidents of chambers of commerce and industry, senior executives of the provinces and representatives from the business enterprise sector who have conducted R&D projects. The President of TÜBİTAK, Prof. Dr. Nüket YETİŞ made a presentation on recent developments in STI in Turkey and in the region highlighting the potential of the region.
