Workshop on "Space Technology Applications for Socio-Economic Benefits" will be organised in Istanbul between 14-17 September 2010 by TÜBİTAK, the United Nations and the European Space Agency.
Workshop on “Space Technology Applications for Socio-Economic Benefits” will be organised in Istanbul between 14-17 September 2010 by TÜBİTAK, the United Nations and the European Space Agency (ESA).
The Workshop will cover the following themes:
- capacity building on space technology
- remote sensor applications
- GNSS applications and satellite communication
- regional and international cooperation
and is intended to discuss the principles of national, regional and international cooperation, to develop ideas for space technology and infrastructure and to raise public awareness on space issues regarding the development and applications of space technology.
