TÜBİTAK Science Award: It is awarded to living scientists who have made significant contributions to science at the international level with their studies in Türkiye.

TÜBİTAK Speacial Award: As an equivalent of the Science Award, it is given to living scientists who are citizens of the Republic of Türkiye and have contributed to science at the international level with their studies abroad.

TÜBİTAK Service Award: It is awarded to people who have made outstanding services to the development of science and technology in Türkiye. Deceased scientists may also be nominated for the Service Award.

TÜBİTAK Incentive Award: It is given to scientists residing in Türkiye who have proven through their studies that they have the qualifications to make significant contributions to science at the international level in the future. The candidate should be under the age of 40 on the first day of the year when the award is given. Application and Evaluation Process

Candidates for the Incentive Award can apply personally or be nominated. Individual applications cannot be made for the Science, Special and Service Awards, a nomination is required.

The following institutions or individuals can nominate to TÜBİTAK Science, Special, Service and Incentive Awards 

• Those who have received TÜBİTAK Science, Special, Service Award or TÜBİTAK-TWAS Science Award in the past

• Council of Higher Education

• Türkiye Academy Of Sciences

• Senates or Boards of Directors of Universities

• The highest decision-making bodies of public and private sector institutions and organizations operating in scientific and technological fields

• TÜBİTAK R&D and R&D Facility Units Boards of Directors and TÜBİTAK Research Groups Executive Committees (in their fields of activity). 

Applications for TÜBİTAK Science, Special, Service and Incentive Awards are made through the Awards Application System, which can be accessed at https://oduller.tubitak.gov.tr The candidate who will apply for the award and the nominating person or the highest official of the institution/organization must have a current registration in ARBİS, otherwise they must complete a "New User Registration". 

The requested documents must be completely uploaded to the Application System. 

After the application phase is completed, the "Acceptance Commitment and Declaration Form" must be signed with an e-signature by the candidate and the person nominating the candidate or the highest authorized manager of the nominating institution/organization. Candidates who are abroad and cannot use e-signature during the application can sign the printout of the application form and send the scanned version of the relevant form first by e-mail and then by mail or courier to our contact address below. 

The nominator must add the type of award which has previously received from TÜBİTAK and the year of receiving the award to the relevant tab in the application system. If the nominator is the university senate/board of directors, the rector's signature must be present in the application system. If the vice rector has been given power of attorney regarding the work and transactions related to TÜBİTAK Award applications, or if the vice rector is deputizing the rector at the time the application is made, the relevant power of attorney document must be uploaded to the system.

Only one of the Science, Special, Service and Incentive Award categories can be applied in the same period.

Applications can be made maximum 3 times for each type of award: Science, Special, Service and Incentive Awards. Applications made before 2010 are not included in this number.

Candidates born in 1984 or before cannot apply for the Incentive Award.

For female applicants, one year is added to the age limit of 40 for each birth.

Those who applied for the TÜBA-The Young Scientists Award Programme (GEBİP) and the International TÜBA Academy Prizes in 2025 cannot apply for the TÜBİTAK Science, Special, Service and Incentive Awards in 2025. If it is determined that a candidate has applied to these awards, their application will be deemed invalid.

For Science, Special and Incentive Awards; Candidates are expected to explain their reasons for deserving the award in a maximum of 750 words and to support this explanation with publications to which primary contributions have been made. A copy of the 5 publications specified in the "Publications Selected Within the Framework of Reason" heading should be uploaded to the "Additional Files". The candidate's contributions to these 5 publications and the candidate’s contribution to these publications should be explained in a maximum of 250 words. If the candidate has contributed to more than one subject, all but the most significant contribution should be separated by subject. A copy of each of the maximum 15 publications under the heading "Other Scientific Publications within the Framework of Justification" should be uploaded to the "Additional Files" and a description text not exceeding 500 words should be added.

Publications that constitute a primary contribution to a candidate's application (The 5 Publications Selected Within the Framework of the Reason) cannot be used in another candidate's application for the same type of award. TÜBİTAK has the right to investigate the statement for publications declared to have made primary contributions. Although it is declared that the candidate has made a primary contribution to the relevant publication, if it is determined that the candidate has not made a primary contribution to any of these publications, the application will not be evaluated. In addition, “The 5 Publications Selected Within the Framework of the Reason” must be independent of the candidate's doctorate study.

For the Service Award; applications must include the reasons why candidates deserve the award and the relevant document supporting these reasons, if any. In the justification; It should be explained in a maximum of 750 words within the scope of the following subjects;

• To train scientists

• To work for the institutionalization of the branch of science in which the candidate belongs to

• How the candidate has provided superior service to the development of science and technology in Türkiye, 

• Establishing or significantly contributing to the establishment of scientific institutions and organizations.

TÜBİTAK Science, Special and Service Awards are given in the fields of Basic Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Health Sciences, Social and Human Sciences. The Incentive Award is given in the fields of Basic Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Health Sciences, Social and Human Sciences, Polar Studies. 

The number of Science Awards cannot exceed eight, the number of Special Awards cannot exceed four, the number of Service Awards cannot exceed four, and the number of Incentive Awards cannot exceed twenty.

Plaques and certificates are given according to the type of Science, Special, Service and Incentive awards. For the Science and Special Awards, the equivalent of 10 full gold coins and for the Incentive Award, the equivalent of 5 full gold coins are deposited into bank accounts in Turkish Lira.

All evaluations and opinions formed during the award evaluation process, as well as the names of the referees/advisors whose evaluations were consulted and the opinions given by them, are confidential and are outside the scope of the right to information in accordance with the first paragraph of Article 26 of Law No. 4982.

Applications will be accepted until 02/06/2025, at 17.00 (UTC+3).

The winners of the Science, Special, Service and Incentive Awards are announced in the same year and the awards are given to their winners at a ceremony.

Türkiye, Bilim ve Teknolojide Avrupa İşbirliği (COST) ağlarında 2024 yılında tarihi bir başarıya imza attı. Tam katılım oranı, yüksek bütçe payı ve güçlü araştırmacı profiliyle Türkiye, Avrupa araştırma iş birliğinde lider ülkelerden biri olduğunu bir kez daha gösterdi.

Avrupa genelinde araştırmacıların uluslararası iş birliği yapmasını destekleyen COST ağına 1971 yılından bu yana üye olan Türkiye, 2024 verileriyle önemli bir performans sergiledi.

COST'un resmi verilerine göre Türkiye:

• Yaklaşık 2,82 milyon avroluk bütçeyle, 41 üye ülke arasında en fazla kaynak aktarılan ülke oldu.

• Yürürlükteki tüm COST Aksiyonlarına (%100 oranında) katılım sağlayarak, bu alanda ilk kez tam katılım oranına ulaştı ve en yüksek temsil düzeyine erişti.

• 11.379 Çalışma Grubu üyesiyle COST Aksiyonlarında en fazla araştırmacı bulunduran ülke konumuna geldi.

• 676 ağ faaliyeti katılımı ile bu alanda en çok katılım sağlayan ikinci ülke oldu.

• 2.321 bireysel toplantı katılımıyla en yüksek katılım gösteren ilk üç ülke arasına girdi.

Türkiye’nin bu başarısı, Avrupa araştırma ekosisteminde etkin ve görünür bir aktör olduğunu bir kez daha  kanıtlıyor. Ülkemiz, aynı zamanda liderlik pozisyonlarındaki artışla, karar alma süreçlerinde de aktif rol üstlenmeye devam ediyor. 

Ayrıca, ülkemizin katılım profili kapsayıcılık açısından da dikkat çekiyor. 2024 yılı verilerine göre COST Aksiyonlarına katılan Türk araştırmacıların %54’ü kadın, %51’i genç araştırmacılardan oluşuyor.

Türkiye, COST çatısı altındaki güçlü ve yaygın katılımı sayesinde, bilimsel iş birliklerinde güvenilir ve öncü bir ortak olarak yerini sağlamlaştırıyor ve Avrupa araştırma ekosistemine yön veren aktörlerden biri olmayı sürdürüyor. 

Further improvements have been made on the 3501- Career Development Program (CAREER) conducted by the Directorate for Research Funding Programmes (ARDEB). In this context, online applications of project proposals  which will be submitted with the existing application forms must be completed from the ARDEB Project Application System (PBS) until 11/05/2025 23.59 (UTC+3) . E-signature processes of the project proposals confirmed before 11/05/2025 23.59 (UTC+3) can be completed after this date. As of 12/05/2025, it will not be possible to apply to 3501- Career Development Program with the existing application forms.

Information regarding the new processes and application forms of the 3501- Career Development Program will be announced after 12/05/2025.

Araştırma Destek Programları Başkanlığı tarafından yürütülen 3501- Kariyer Geliştirme Programı kapsamında iyileştirme çalışmaları gerçekleştirilmektedir. Bu doğrultuda, mevcut başvuru formları ile sunulacak proje önerilerine ilişkin çevrim içi başvuruların ARDEB Proje Başvuru Sistemi (PBS) üzerinden 11/05/2025 saat 23.59’a kadar tamamlanması gerekmektedir. 11/05/2025 saat 23.59’a kadar onaylanan proje başvurularının elektronik imza süreçlerinin bu tarihten sonra tamamlanabilmesi mümkündür. 12/05/2025 tarihinden itibaren mevcut formlar ile başvuru yapılması mümkün olamayacaktır. 

3501- Kariyer Geliştirme Programının yeni sürecine ve başvuru formlarına ilişkin bilgilendirme 12/05/2025 tarihinden sonra duyurulacaktır.

Dear Researchers, Representatives from Academia, Industry, and Civil Society Organizations,

Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships (PF) 2025 call will be launched by the European Commission on 8 May 2025 and will close on 10 September 2025. Aiming to support the career development of researchers holding a PhD degree, this call encourages international, interdisciplinary, and intersectoral mobility. Individual project applications from all research fields are supported, with no thematic limitations.

Also, Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Doctoral Networks (MSCA Doctoral Networks) 2025 call will open on 28 May 2025 and close on 25 November 2025. This call aims to train researchers who have not yet obtained a doctoral degree (doctoral candidates) through innovative research project proposals, again without thematic restrictions.

For Horizon Europe MSCA Staff Exchanges 2025 call, which was opened on 27 March 2025, the European Commission will accept applications until 8 October 2025. The Staff Exchanges call aims to foster the transfer of knowledge, technology, and experience between sectors and countries through the exchange of research, technical, and administrative staff between Turkiye and countries both within and outside Europe.

To cover all those MSCA calls and more, the “MSCA 2025 Calls Conference” organized annually by TÜBİTAK National Contact Points, will be held physically this year in two different cities of Turkiye:

Değerli Araştırmacılarımız, Akademi, Sanayi ve Sivil Toplum Kuruluşu Temsilcileri,

Ufuk Avrupa Marie Skłodowska-Curie Alanı Doktora Sonrası Bursları (MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships - PF) 2025 çağrısı, Avrupa Komisyonu tarafından 8 Mayıs 2025 tarihinde açılacak ve 10 Eylül 2025 tarihinde kapanacaktır. Doktora derecesine sahip araştırmacıların uluslararası, disiplinler/kurumlar arası dolaşımını teşvik eden bu çağrı, kariyer gelişimlerini desteklemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Konu sınırlaması olmaksızın tüm araştırma alanlarından bireysel proje başvuruları desteklenmektedir.

Aynı zamanda Ufuk Avrupa Marie Skłodowska-Curie Alanı Doktora Ağları (MSCA Doctoral Networks) 2025 çağrısı da 28 Mayıs 2025 tarihinde açılacak ve 25 Kasım 2025 tarihinde kapanacaktır. Bu çağrı ile de yenilikçi araştırma alanlarında konu sınırlaması olmadan yazılacak proje önerileri aracılığıyla henüz doktora derecesini almamış araştırmacıların (doktora adaylarının) eğitilmesi hedeflenmektedir.

27 Mart 2025 tarihinde açılmış olan MSCA Değişim Programı (MSCA Staff Exchange) 2025 çağrısı içinse Avrupa Komisyonu, başvuruları, 8 Ekim 2025 tarihine kadar kabul etmektedir. Değişim Programı kapsamında, Türkiye ile Avrupa içinden ve dışından ülkeler arasında gerçekleştirilecek araştırma personeli, teknik ve idari personel değişimi yoluyla sektörler ve ülkeler arası bilgi, teknoloji ve tecrübe transferinin sağlanması hedeflenmektedir.

Tüm bu MSCA çağrılarını ve daha fazlasını içerecek şekilde, TÜBİTAK Ulusal İrtibat Noktaları tarafından her yıl düzenlenen “MSCA 2025 Çağrıları Konferansı”, bu yıl fiziksel olarak iki ayrı şehirde gerçekleşecektir:

Under the TÜBİTAK 1071 Program, joint projects will be supported within the framework of the collaboration protocol between TÜBİTAK and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Information regarding the thematic areas of the call is provided in the call text.

Researchers in Türkiye who wish to propose a joint project must agree to a partnership with researchers in France, who will collaborate on the project. Applications submitted unilaterally will not be accepted.

Within the scope of the call, which will remain open until 23:59 (UTC+3) on the 10th of July 2025, project applications to TÜBİTAK must submitted through the electronic application system.

TÜBİTAK 1071 Programı kapsamında, TÜBİTAK ile Fransa Dışişleri Bakanlığı arasındaki iş birliği protokolü çerçevesinde ortak projeler desteklenecektir. Çağrı tematik alanlarına yönelik bilgi çağrı metninde sunulmaktadır.

Ortak proje önermek isteyen Türkiye’deki bilim insanlarının, projeyi birlikte gerçekleştirecekleri Fransa’daki bilim insanları ile proje ortağı olarak anlaşmaları gerekmektedir. Tek taraflı proje başvuruları kabul edilmemektedir.

1707 Sipariş Ar-Ge Programı, Müşteri Kuruluş’un gereksinimlerini karşılamak üzere tasarlanan çözüm önerilerinin, KOBİ'ler tarafından Ar-Ge faaliyetlerine dönüştürülerek ticarileşebilir çıktılara ulaşılması hedefini benimsemektedir. TÜBİTAK ve Müşteri Kuruluş, bu önemli süreçte eş finansman yoluyla KOBİ'lerin gereksinim odaklı Ar-Ge faaliyetleri gerçekleştirmelerini sağlamaktadır.

KOBİ’ler müşterisi hazır yenilikçi ürün ve süreçler gerçekleştirmektedir. Sanayi kuruluşları arasında finansman riskinin paylaşılmasına ve fikri sinai haklar üzerinde anlaşılmasına zemin hazırlanmakta, proje yönetiminde görece daha deneyimli olan kuruluşların deneyimlerini KOBİ’lere aktarmasına imkân tanınmaktadır.

56. LİSE ÖĞRENCİLERİ ARAŞTIRMA PROJELERİ FİNAL YARIŞMASI 

Kurumumuz tarafından düzenlenen 56. Lise Öğrencileri Araştırma Projeleri Yarışması’nın final sergisi ve ödül töreni,  25-28 Mayıs 2025 tarihleri arasında Ankara’da yüz yüze olarak yapılacaktır. 

Final Yarışması, 25 Mayıs 2025 Pazar günü, saat 11.30’da yapılacak açılış töreni ile başlayacak ve 28 Mayıs 2025 günü sona erecektir. Ödül töreni gününe ilişkin planlama daha sonra duyurulacaktır. Bu kapsamda, yarışmanın final aşamasına davet edilen proje sahibi öğrenciler ve danışmanlarının, geliş tarihinin 24 Mayıs 2025, dönüş tarihinin 29 Mayıs 2025 olarak planlaması gerekmektedir.

Final sergisi öncesinde Muvafakatname, Yarışma Kuralları Kabul Formu ve Katılımcı Bildirim Formu’nun, projedeki tüm öğrenciler ve danışman/rehber öğretmen tarafından mavi kalemle doldurulup imzalandıktan sonra renkli olarak taranmış tek bir nüshasının en geç 21 Mayıs 2025 günü saat 17.30’a kadar bideb2204@tubitak.gov.tr e-posta adresine gönderilmesi ve orijinal nüshalarının final sergisine gelindiğinde elden teslim edilmesi gerekmektedir. 

Danışmanın ve öğrencilerin farklı ilde olması durumunda tek bir form hazırlanıp taratılarak e-posta olarak gönderilecektir.

19. ORTAOKUL ÖĞRENCİLERİ ARAŞTIRMA PROJELERİ FİNAL YARIŞMASI 

Kurumumuz tarafından düzenlenen 19. Ortaokul Öğrencileri Araştırma Projeleri Yarışması’nın final sergisi ve ödül töreni,  25-28 Mayıs 2025 tarihleri arasında Ankara’da yüz yüze olarak yapılacaktır. 

Final Yarışması, 25 Mayıs 2025 Pazar günü, saat 11.30’da yapılacak açılış töreni ile başlayacak ve 28 Mayıs 2025 günü sona erecektir. Ödül töreni gününe ilişkin planlama daha sonra duyurulacaktır. Bu kapsamda, yarışmanın final aşamasına davet edilen proje sahibi öğrenciler ve danışmanlarının, geliş tarihinin 24 Mayıs 2025, dönüş tarihinin 29 Mayıs 2025 olarak planlaması gerekmektedir.

Final sergisi öncesinde Muvafakatname, Yarışma Kuralları Kabul Formu ve Katılımcı Bildirim Formu’nun, projedeki tüm öğrenciler ve danışman/rehber öğretmen tarafından mavi kalemle doldurulup imzalandıktan sonra renkli olarak taranmış tek bir nüshasının en geç 21 Mayıs 2025 günü saat 17.30’a kadar bideb2204@tubitak.gov.tr e-posta adresine gönderilmesi ve orijinal nüshalarının final sergisine gelindiğinde elden teslim edilmesi gerekmektedir. 

Danışmanın ve öğrencilerin farklı ilde olması durumunda tek bir form hazırlanıp taratılarak e-posta olarak gönderilecektir.

Within the scope of the 3rd call of the 4008 Support Programme for Inclusive Society Practices for Individuals with Special Needs, which aims to raise awareness about individuals with special needs, support them in areas such as education and independent living to facilitate their integration into society, and promote the dissemination of scientific practices among both individuals with special needs and service providers, 80 projects were entitled to receive support.

Özel gereksinimli bireylerde farkındalık oluşturmayı, bu bireylere eğitim ve bağımsız yaşam konularında destek sağlayarak toplumla bütünleşmelerini kolaylaştırmayı, özel gereksinimli bireylere hizmet sunan kişiler ve özel gereksinimli bireyler arasında bilimsel uygulamaların yaygınlaşmasını sağlamayı amaçlayan “4008 Özel Gereksinimli Bireylere Yönelik Kapsayıcı Toplum Uygulamaları Destekleme Programı” 3. Çağrısı kapsamında 80 proje destek almaya hak kazandı.

The Science Fairs Festival Call has been published with the aim of presenting the projects supported under the 4006-TÜBİTAK Science Fairs Support Program to a wider audience through festivals organized at the provincial or district levels.

This call aims to bring exhibited projects to the attention of the broader public, increase scientific awareness across all segments of society, foster scientific curiosity, strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration and create a platform for interaction and knowledge sharing among schools within the same province or district that have held science fairs.

Applications must be submitted until 16 May 2025 23:59 (UTC+3) via the website http://bilimiz.tubitak.gov.tr .

Only Provincial or District National Education Directorates can apply for the Science Fair Festival support.

4006-TÜBİTAK Bilim Fuarları Destekleme Programı kapsamında desteklenen projelerin il ve ilçe düzeyinde düzenlenecek festivaller aracılığıyla daha geniş kitlelerle buluşturulması amacıyla açılan 4006-C Bilim Fuarları Festivali Çağrısı yayınlanmıştır. 

Bu çağrı ile sergilenen projelerin toplumun her kesiminden vatandaşlara ulaştırılması ve bilimsel farkındalığın yaygınlaştırılması hedeflenirken; aynı zamanda bilimsel merakın artırılması, disiplinler arası etkileşimin güçlendirilmesi ve aynı il/ilçede bilim fuarı gerçekleştirmiş okullar arasında bilgi alışverişini mümkün kılacak bir etkileşim ortamının oluşturulması da amaçlanmaktadır.
