Trained under the 2202 Science Olympiads Program by the TÜBİTAK BİDEB, our national team made our country proud in Shanghai.
At the 67th International Mathematical Olympiad, held in Shanghai, China, between 10-21 July 2026, bringing together talented young minds in mathematics from 666 participants across 117 countries, all 6 of our students representing our country achieved great success by winning medals.
Among our students participating in the 67th International Mathematical Olympiad, Umut Kağan Yazgan won a gold medal, Ege Akgün, Mustafa Dortluoğlu and Tuğra Özbey Eratlı won silver medals, while Alperen İnan and Selim Doğan won bronze medals. Achieving a total of 1 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze medals, our team brought immense pride to our country.
We wholeheartedly congratulate our prospective future scientists who proudly waved our flag in China, and we thank their families, teachers, Committee Chairs, and all academics who contributed to their training.
