Our national team, which represented Türkiye at the 58th International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO), has returned home with four silver medals, bringing great pride to our country.
The 58th International Chemistry Olympiad was held on 10–19 July 2026 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, with the participation of more than 360 students from 93 countries. Our students, trained under the 2202 Science Olympiads Programme conducted by TÜBİTAK, Arda Yazıcıoğlu, Bahri Eren Sarıkaya, Kaan Doğan and Mustafa Efe Cesur won silver medals, representing our country with distinction on the international stage.
We wholeheartedly congratulate our students for bringing this pride to our country, and we extend our sincere thanks to their families and teachers, whose contributions were instrumental in their success, as well as to all the academics who took part in the training process — foremost among them the Chairs of our Chemistry Olympiad Committee.
