The Turkish national team, representing our country at the 37th International Biology Olympiad, has made us proud by returning home with multiple medals.
The 37th International Biology Olympiad was held in Vilnius, Lithuania, from July 12-19, 2026, with the participation of 302 students from 78 countries. Our students representing Turkey achieved remarkable success by winning a total of 4 awards: 2 gold and 2 silver medals. Trained under TÜBİTAK’s 2202 Science Olympiads Program, our students achieved the following results:
Gold Medal: Ahmet Alp Alaftargil and Ahsen Sena Girgin
Silver Medals: Çağan Gürel and Bilal Bostan
