Scholarship to be awarded covers two (2) years of doctoral education. Scholars are paid a maximum of $60,000 per year, including living expenses, tuition fees, and health insurance.

Program kapsamında belirlenen araştırma alanlarında yurt dışında doktora eğitimi almayı amaçlayan, lisans öğreniminde son sınıfa geçmiş, lisans öğrenimini tamamlamış, bir lisansüstü programına kayıtlı ya da bir yüksek lisans programını tamamlayan kişiler başvuru yapabilir.

Individuals who intend to pursue doctoral education abroad in the research areas determined within the scope of the program, who are in their final year of undergraduate education, who have completed their undergraduate education, who are enrolled in a graduate program, or who have completed a master's program can apply.

Başvurular, bursiyer adayı tarafından TÜBİTAK Yönetim Bilgi Sistemi (https://tybs.tubitak.gov.tr/) adresine çevrimiçi olarak yapılır. Faks veya diğer elektronik yollarla veya eksik belgeyle yapılan başvurular kabul edilmez. Adayların eğitim, sınav vb. bilgileri çevrimiçi sistemler üzerinden görüntülenecektir. Ancak bilgileri çevrimiçi sistemler üzerinden görüntülenemeyen adayların eğitim, sınav vb. belgelerini başvuru sistemine yüklemeleri gerekmektedir.

Applications can be submitted online at TÜBİTAK Application Information System (https://tybs.tubitak.gov.tr/). Applications submitted by fax or other electronic methods or with incomplete documents will not be accepted. 

Ön incelemeyi geçen başvurular bilimsel değerlendirmeye alınır. Bilimsel değerlendirme, mülakat, panelist, danışman veya Danışma Kurulu değerlendirme yöntemlerinden biri ile yapılabilir. Adayın burs başvurusu yaptığı alana ilişkin bilgi düzeyi ve akademik çalışmaları esas alınarak değerlendirilir.

Applications who pass the preliminary examination are taken into scientific evaluation. Scientific evaluation can be made through one of the evaluation methods of interview, consultant or Advisory Board. The candidate's scholarship application is evaluated based on his/her level of knowledge and academic studies in the field for which he/she is applying.

1. Türkiye Bilimsel ve Teknolojik Araştırma Kurumu Bilim İnsanı Destek Programları Başkanlığı Tarafından Yürütülen Programlara İlişkin Yönetmelik,

2. Türkiye Bilimsel ve Teknolojik Araştırma Kurumu Bilim İnsanı Destek Programları Başkanlığı Burs ve Destek Programlarının Yürütülmesine İlişkin Usul ve Esaslar,

3. BİDEB Burs ve Destek Programlarında Başvuruların ve Raporların Panel/Danışman/Danışma Kurulu Yöntemi ile Değerlendirilmesi ve İzlenmesine İlişkin Yönerge.

• Doktora eğitimi için yurt dışına giden bursiyerin yurt dışındaki ev ve yazışma adreslerini telefon numarasını, banka hesap ve IBAN numaraları ile elektronik haberleşme adreslerini 15 gün içinde BİDEB’e bildirmesi gerekir.

• Bursiyer, onaylanan doktora eğitim alanını ve öğrenim gördüğü üniversiteyi GYK kararı ile değiştirebilir.

• Bursiyer her dönem başında, öğrenci belgesini, her dönem sonunda notlarını ve aldığı dersleri gösteren belge (transkript) ile akademik izleme raporunu BİDEB'e ulaştırmak zorundadır. Belgelerini ulaştırmayan bursiyerin burs ödemeleri durdurulur. Sonradan ulaştırması halinde geriye dönük olarak burs ödemesi GYK kararı ile yapılabilir.

• Bursiyer yurt içinde veya dışında başka bir kuruluştan destek aldığı takdirde bu durumu 15 gün içinde BİDEB’e bildirmekle yükümlüdür. Başka bir kuruluştan maddi destek alan bursiyere verilecek aylık burs miktarı GYK tarafından ayrıca belirlenir.

In line with the National Technology Initiative, the 4006-TÜBİTAK Science Fairs Support Program has been implemented since 2013 to encourage children and young people to engage in scientific thinking, conduct research and develop projects as part of our country’s determined progress in science and technology.

Through the Program, millions of students across all 81 provinces have so far had the opportunity to develop scientific projects, conduct research and present their work.

Under the Program, which contributes to students’ development of scientific knowledge and skills, acquisition of a research culture and sharing of their scientific work, projects are developed and science fairs are organized by students in grades 5–12 on thematic topics identified in line with Türkiye’s priorities and current trends in science and technology.

To support students’ scientific studies and contribute to the wider dissemination of science fairs, the 2026 calls for the 13th term of the 4006-TÜBİTAK Science Fairs Support Program have been announced.

Milli Teknoloji Hamlesi doğrultusunda ülkemizin kararlılıkla ilerlediği bilim ve teknoloji yolculuğunda, çocuk ve gençleri bilimsel düşünmeye, araştırmaya ve proje üretmeye teşvik eden 4006-TÜBİTAK Bilim Fuarları Destekleme Programı, 2013 yılından bu yana TÜBİTAK Bilim ve Toplum Başkanlığı (BİTO) tarafından yürütülmektedir.

Program sayesinde bugüne kadar 81 ilden milyonlarca öğrenci bilimsel proje hazırlama, araştırma yapma ve çalışmalarını sunma fırsatı elde etmiştir.

Öğrencilerin bilimsel bilgi ve becerilerini geliştirmelerine, araştırma kültürü kazanmalarına ve bilimsel çalışmalarını paylaşmalarına katkı sağlayan program kapsamında, 5-12. sınıf öğrencileri tarafından ülkemizin bilim ve teknoloji alanındaki öncelikleri ve güncel yönelimleri doğrultusunda belirlenen tematik konularda projeler hazırlanmakta ve bilim fuarları düzenlenmektedir.

Öğrencilerin bilimsel çalışmalarını desteklemek ve bilim fuarlarının yaygınlaştırılmasına katkı sağlamak amacıyla 4006-TÜBİTAK Bilim Fuarları Destekleme Programının 2026 yılı 13. dönem çağrıları yayınlanmıştır.

The Science and Society Support Programs are carried out with the aim of increasing scientific and technological awareness among different segments of society, strengthening science communication and fostering a widespread science culture.

The Science and Society Support Programs Project Incentive Awards call has been launched to enhance the visibility of the high-quality outputs and results of projects supported by the TÜBİTAK Science and Society Directorate, increase their societal impact and encourage successful practices.

Applications for the awards may be submitted by the institutions/organizations responsible for projects supported by the TÜBİTAK Science and Society Directorate and successfully completed within the last three years.

The award ceremony is planned to be held as part of the 1st Türkiye Science Communication Summit, which is planned to take place on 14–15 October 2026, under the coordination of the TÜBİTAK Science and Society Directorate and hosted by Middle East Technical University (METU).
