The results of the applications for the 2nd call of the 4006-C Science Fair Festival have been announced. The festival was launched with the aim of bringing projects supported under the 4006-TÜBİTAK Science Fairs Support Program to wider audiences through festivals to be organized at the provincial and district levels.

Within the scope of the call, a total of 69 science fair festival applications from 43 provinces have been selected for support.

Applicants can view the evaluation results by logging into their user accounts on the application system.

Under the auspices of the Presidency and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the 10th National Antarctic Science Expedition (TAE X), conducted by the TÜBİTAK Polar Research Institute (KARE), has been successfully completed. In a statement on social media, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır noted that 15 research projects were carried out during the expedition.

Minister Kacır used the following statements in his post:

“Our 10th National Antarctic Science Expedition has been successfully completed. Our scientists carried out 15 research projects over a period of more than a month in the harsh conditions of Antarctica. Under the patronage of our President and coordinated by our TÜBİTAK Polar Research Institute, we will continue our polar research expeditions to increase our country's scientific capacity and offer solutions to the global problems facing humanity. Our goal is to establish a permanent Turkish Scientific Research Station in Antarctica and to obtain ‘Advisory Country’ status within the Antarctic Treaty System.

As part of the expedition, a team of 17 people, including 16 Turkish and 1 Bulgarian researchers, carried out fieldwork for the TÜBİTAK Kutup 1001 projects. During the expedition, annual data was collected from the low-frequency (VLF) measurement station established jointly with the USA, and maintenance/upkeep work was carried out at the Turkish Scientific Research Camp located on Horseshoe Island. Additionally, long-term monitoring studies were conducted, maintenance was performed on our GNSS stations, and work continued on the nautical charting of Horseshoe Island and its surroundings. 

This year, our scientists were accompanied by three secondary school students from Aydın and Ankara, who won the TEKNOFEST Polar Research Project Competition.

Cumhurbaşkanlığı himayelerinde, Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanlığı uhdesinde, TÜBİTAK Kutup Araştırmaları Enstitüsü (KARE) tarafından yürütülen 10. Ulusal Antarktika Bilim Seferi (TAE X) başarıyla tamamlandı. Konuyla ilgili sosyal medya hesabı üzerinde açıklama yapan Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanı Mehmet Fatih Kacır, sefer sırasında 15 araştırma projesini hayata geçirildiğini kaydetti. 

Bakan Kacır paylaşımında şu ifadeleri kullandı: 

“10. Ulusal Antarktika Bilim Seferimiz başarıyla tamamlandı. Bilim insanlarımız, Antarktika’nın zorlu koşullarında bir aydan fazla sürede 15 araştırma projesini hayata geçirdi.Sayın Cumhurbaşkanımızın himayelerinde TÜBİTAK Kutup Araştırmaları Enstitümüzün koordinasyonunda yürüttüğümüz kutup araştırma seferlerimizle ülkemizin bilimsel kapasitesini artırmaya, insanlığın karşı karşıya olduğu küresel sorunlara çözüm önerileri sunmaya devam edeceğiz. Hedefimiz; Antarktika'da kalıcı Türk Bilim Araştırma Üssü kurmak ve Antarktika Anlaşmalar Sistemi içerisinde “Danışman Ülke” statüsü elde etmek.

Sefer kapsamında; 16 Türk ve 1 Bulgar araştırmacı olmak üzere toplam 17 kişilik ekip, TÜBİTAK Kutup 1001 projeleri saha çalışmalarını gerçekleştirdi. Seferde ABD ile ortak kurulan düşük frekans (VLF) ölçüm istasyonu yıllık verileri toplandı, Horseshoe Adası’nda bulunan Türk Bilimsel Araştırma Kampı’nın bakım/tutum çalışmaları gerçekleştirildi. Ayrıca uzun dönem izleme çalışmaları yürütüldü, GNSS istasyonlarımızın bakımları yapıldı ve Horseshoe Adası ile çevresinin deniz haritası çalışmalarına devam edildi. 

Bilim insanlarımıza bu yıl da, TEKNOFEST Kutup Araştırmaları Proje Yarışması’nda şampiyon olan Aydın ve Ankara’dan üç lise öğrencisi eşlik etti.

The European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) provides various scholarship and support programmes for scientists working in the field of life sciences. These programmes, which are financed by the European Molecular Biology Conference (EMBC) Member States and EMBO/EMBC global partners, provide grant, accommodation and networking support to the researchers.

EMBO Workshops provide funding for meetings that stimulate exchanges of the latest scientific knowledge in the field of life sciences whereas EMBO Practical Courses provide funding for courses that provide training in experimental techniques and promote the transfer of methodologies in these fields.

• Organising workshops in countries that are EMBC members or EMBO/EMBC global partners;

• Organising workshops that are covering a topic from the life sciences and related to EMBO subject areas;

Within the scope of the “4004 Nature and Science Schools Support Program”, which enables the target audience to experience scientific topics, concepts and processes through observation and hands-on activities and which also includes 12 thematic call areas introduced in line with the critical technology fields and priority R&D and innovation topics set out in the 12th Development Plan and the 2030 Industry and Technology Strategy, application results has been announced.

Within the scope of 1501 TUBITAK Industrial R&D Projects Grant Program, within the framework of innovation definition; R&D projects are supported to produce a new product, to develop and improve an existing product, to raise the product quality or standard, or to develop new techniques and new technologies that reduce costs. The support rate for each period of the project is 75% with a fixed rate. The duration of the support is maximum thirty-six (36) months on a project basis.

Supported costs are: personnel costs, travel costs, tools, equipment, software and technical documents costs, R&D service expenses, consultancy or other services costs, materials and consumables costs,

1501-Sanayi Ar-Ge Destek Programı kapsamında, yenilik tanımı çerçevesinde; yeni bir ürün üretilmesi, mevcut bir ürünün geliştirilmesi, iyileştirilmesi, ürün kalitesi veya standardının yükseltilmesi veya maliyet düşürücü nitelikte yeni tekniklerin, yeni üretim teknolojilerinin geliştirilmesi konularında yürütülen Ar-Ge nitelikli projeler desteklenmektedir. Programın destek oranı % 75 olarak uygulanır.

Improvements will made on the 3005–Innovative Solutions in Social Sciences and Humanities Research Projects Funding Program conducted by the Directorate for Research Funding Programmes (ARDEB). In this context, online applications of project proposals which will be submitted with the existing application forms must be completed from the ARDEB Project Application System (PBS) until 13 April 2026 23.59 (UTC+3). E-signature processes of the project proposals confirmed before 13 April 2026 23.59 (UTC+3) can be completed until 28 April 2026 23.59 (UTC+3). As of 14 April 2026, applications to the 3005 Program will be temporarily suspended to allow for the updates.

Announcement regarding the new processes and procedures of the 3005 Program will be done later.

Araştırma Destek Programları Başkanlığı (ARDEB) tarafından 3005–Sosyal ve Beşeri Bilimlerde Yenilikçi Çözümler Araştırma Projeleri Destek Programı kapsamında iyileştirme çalışmaları gerçekleştirilmektedir. Bu doğrultuda, mevcut başvuru formları ile sunulacak proje önerilerine ilişkin çevrim içi başvuruların ARDEB Proje Başvuru Sistemi (PBS) üzerinden 13 Nisan 2026 saat 23.59’a kadar tamamlanması gerekmektedir. 13 Nisan 2026 saat 23.59’a kadar onaylanan proje başvurularının elektronik imza süreçlerinin ise 28 Nisan 2026 saat 23.59’a kadar tamamlanması gerekmektedir. 14 Nisan 2026 tarihinden itibaren program, güncellemelerin yapılabilmesi için geçici olarak başvuruya kapatılacaktır.

The 2026 calls for the PRIMA Program (Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area), which will support multilateral projects on water management, food systems, and agri-food value chain themes in the Mediterranean region, are open for applications.

• Project proposals submitted within the scope of Section 2, will be supported by the funds that the national funding agencies have committed to PRIMA, without the contribution of the EU. In the framework of the Section 2, in addition to the joint application to the PRIMA Program, research teams in project consortia are required to apply to their national funding agencies. Research teams that will take part in the consortiums from Turkey will make their national applications to TÜBİTAK via the online application portal. Project proposals to be submitted from Türkiye within the scope of the PRIMA Program will be supported within the scope of 1071 Program.  Since the application is returned without being evaluated in case of non-compliance with the application rules, the national application rules should be examined in detail before the application.

Akdeniz Bölgesi'nde su yönetimi, gıda sistemleri ve tarım-gıda değer zinciri temalarında çok ortaklı uluslararası projelerin destekleneceği Akdeniz Bölgesi'nde Araştırma ve İnovasyon için Ortaklık (Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area–PRIMA) Programı’nın 2026 yılı çağrıları başvurulara açıldı. 

PRIMA Programı kapsamında desteklenecek projeler 2 bölüme ayrılmaktadır:

• Bölüm 1 kapsamında alınan proje önerileri, Ufuk Avrupa Programı’ndan PRIMA Programı’na tahsis edilmiş fon ile desteklenecektir. PRIMA Programı Bölüm 1 kapsamında başvurular sadece PRIMA’ya yapılmalıdır. Detaylı bilgi ve uluslararası başvurular için ilgili internet adresi ziyaret edilmelidir.

Bölüm 1- 2026 Yılı Çağrı Başlıkları:

Konu 1.1.1-2026 (IA): İklime dayanıklı ve kaynak açısından verimli Akdeniz tarımı için merkezi olmayan acı suyun tuzdan arındırılması.

Konu 1.2.1-2026 (IA): Döngüsel ve dayanıklı Akdeniz tarım sistemleri için sürdürülebilir ve alternatif yeni nesil hayvan yemleri.

Konu 1.3.1-2026 (IA): Bozulabilir Akdeniz tarım-gıda ürünlerinin yerinde sürdürülebilir dönüşümü/işlenmesi.

Nexus Teması (yatay/kesitsel)

Konu 1.4.1-2026 (CSA): Sektörler arası yönetişim ve politika benimsenmesi için Akdeniz WEFE Nexus Uygulama Topluluğunun kurumsallaştırılması ve ölçeklendirilmesi.

• Bölüm 2 kapsamında alınan proje önerileri ise ulusal fonlayıcı kuruluşların PRIMA Programı’na taahhüt etmiş oldukları fonlar ile desteklenecektir. Bölüm 2 kapsamında, PRIMA’ya yapılacak ortak başvuruya ek olarak, proje konsorsiyumlarında yer alan araştırma ekiplerinin kendi ulusal fonlayıcı kuruluşlarına da başvuru yapmaları gerekmektedir. Uluslararası başvuru koşulları ve detaylı bilgi için ilgili internet adresi ziyaret edilmelidir. Konsorsiyumlarda Türkiye’den yer alacak ekipler, ulusal başvurularını Proje Başvuru Sistemi üzerinden TÜBİTAK’a yapacaklardır. Söz konusu çağrı kapsamında ülkemizden sunulacak proje önerileri TÜBİTAK 1071–Uluslararası İşbirliği Projeleri Destek Programı kapsamında desteklenecektir. Başvuru kurallarına uyulmaması durumunda başvurunun değerlendirmeye alınmadan iade edilmesi söz konusu olduğundan başvuru öncesinde ulusal başvuru kurallarının detaylı bir şekilde incelenmesi gerekmektedir.

Bölüm 2- 2026 Yılı Çağrı Başlıkları:

Konu 2.1.1-2026 (RIA): Akdeniz’de süreksiz (mevsimsel) akarsuların korunması ve restorasyonu için ekosistem işlevlerinden yararlanılması ve su tahsisinin iyileştirilmesi.

Konu 2.2.1-2026 (RIA): Hastalık ve zararlı istilalarına karşı yeni uzaktan ve müdahalesiz BİT (Bilgi ve İletişim Teknolojileri) izleme ve kontrol sistemleri.

Konu 2.3.1-2026 (RIA): Bağlama duyarlı dijital izlenebilirlik yoluyla Akdeniz gıda değer zincirlerinin güçlendirilmesi.
