Held in Thessaloniki, Greece from 3 to 8 May 2026, the 43rd Balkan Mathematical Olympiad (BMO) brought together 148 students from 24 countries. This prestigious international competition aims to support and encourage talented young mathematicians in the field of mathematics. Representing our country, our students won two gold medals and four silver medals.
Under the 2202 Science Olympiads Program carried out by TÜBİTAK BİDEB, our young scientists, who were trained to represent our country at the international level, achieved the following outstanding results; Ege Akgün and Alperen İnan gold medals, Tuğra Özbey Eratlı, Selim Doğan, Mustafa Dortluoğlu and Umut Kağan Yazgan silver medals. Our students made us immensely proud by ranking first among the participating countries with their outstanding total team score.
We wholeheartedly congratulate our students who represented our country at the 43rd Balkan Mathematical Olympiad and demonstrated their exceptional talent as future scientists. We extend our sincere thanks to all participating students, their families, teachers, and especially to our committee chairs and all academicians who contributed to their training.
3-8 Mayıs 2026 tarihlerinde Yunanistan’ın Selanik şehrinde düzenlenen ve 24 ülkeden 148 öğrencinin yarıştığı uluslararası düzeyde matematik alanında yetenekli matematikçileri desteklemeyi ve teşvik etmeyi amaçlayan 43. Balkan Matematik Olimpiyatı’nda ülkemizi temsil eden öğrencilerimiz, 2 altın ve 4 gümüş madalya kazandılar.
TÜBİTAK Bilim İnsanı Destek Programları Başkanlığı (BİDEB( bünyesinde yürütülen 2202 Bilim Olimpiyatları Programı kapsamında ülkemizi uluslararası alanda temsil etmek üzere yetiştirilen genç bilim insanları Ege Akgün ve Alperen İnan altın madalya, Tuğra Özbey Eratlı, Selim Doğan, Mustafa Dortluoğlu ve Umut Kağan Yazgan gümüş madalya kazandı. Ayrıca öğrencilerimiz, katılımcı ülkeler arasında elde ettikleri toplam takım puanıyla birinci olarak ülkemize büyük bir gurur yaşattı.
43. Balkan Matematik Olimpiyatı’nda ülkemizi temsil eden geleceğin bilim insanı adayı öğrencilerimizi tebrik ediyor, olimpiyatlara katılan tüm öğrencilerimize, ailelerine, öğretmenlerine, başta komite başkanlarımız olmak üzere eğitimlerde görev alan tüm akademisyenlere teşekkürlerimizi sunuyoruz.
Representing Türkiye at the 60th Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad, our national team has returned home with remarkable achievements, bringing great pride to our country.
Held in Moscow, Russia, from April 15 to 23, 2026, the 60th Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad brought together 160 students from 37 countries. This prestigious international competition brings together talented students in the field of chemistry. Representing our country, our students won two Silver Medals and one Bronze Medal.
Under the 2202 Science Olympiads Program carried out by TÜBİTAK, our young scientists trained to represent our country at the international level achieved outstanding results: Bahri Eren Sarıkaya and Kaan Doğan won silver medals, while Mustafa Efe Cesur won a bronze medal.
