Citation Format
- For single-authored works, only the author's surname is indicated, followed by the year of publication in parentheses.
Example: Öztürk (1990).
- For two-authored works, the authors' surnames are written sequentially and joined with the conjunction “and” followed by the year of publication in parentheses.
Example: Öztürk and Demir (2008).
- For works with three or more authors, the first author's surname and the expression “et al.” are used followed by the year of publication in parentheses.
Example: Öztürk et al. (2000).
- For multiple works by the same author published on different dates, the dates are shown in chronological order in parentheses. For multiple works by the same author published in the same year, distinction is made by adding letters after the year.
Example: Öztürk (2000a, 2000b, 2004).
- If the citation is placed in parentheses, the year is not enclosed in additional parentheses. If more than one source is cited within parentheses, a semicolon (;) is used to separate the sources.
Example: (Öztürk et al., 2000; Demir, 2012).
- Internet sources should be cited as shown in the following examples.
