Collective Research Network (CORNET) 39th Call is open for applications for proposals to realise further international research projects for the benefits of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The deadline for the submission of project proposals is 26 March 2025. 

CORNET combines existing national or regional funding programs and brings together financial resources from two (or more) countries/regions into one project budget.  Project consortiums should involve at least 2 partner countries, and the international application must include three stakeholders from each country:

1. R&D and innovation activities must be carried out by the research partner (higher education institutions, training and research hospitals, public institutions and organizations within the scope of the Higher Education Law).

2. Project topics must be determined by an SME Association in line with the needs of SMEs. The task of the SME Association is to determine the needs of its members and ensure the dissemination of project outputs.

3. An SME User Committee consisting of at least 3 SMEs must be defined in applications. The SME User Committee is expected to direct the project team and increase the efficiency of the project.

Within the scope of the call, a national application must be submitted as well as an international application. International application should be done through the CORNET Submission Tool. Higher education institutions, training and research hospitals, public institutions and organizations located in Türkiye can apply through the TÜBİTAK Submission Tool.

The EU-LAC Interest Group is a group of funding agencies from LAC, EU Member States and Associated Countries wishing to cooperate in bi-regional science, technology and innovation.

The goal of the EU-LAC 5th Joint Call is to initiate sustainable and multilateral research cooperation between researchers from European, Latin American and Caribbean countries, i.e. to establish long-term cooperation between EU Member States, Associated Countries and LAC by offering transnational calls in the field of research and innovation. In this regard, the EU-LAC Interest Group will open its 5th Joint Call for applications on 24 February 2025.

Within the scope of this call, projects to be developed jointly by researchers in their thematic areas will be supported:

-Open Science

-Bioeconomics (Bioeconomy, Nature-Based Solutions),

-Energy (Energy transition),

-Global Challenges (Biodiversity, Food Security, Agriculture),

-Health (Global Health, Infectious Diseases)

According to the international call rules, project consortia that will apply to the call must include researchers from at least four different countries. Each consortium must include at least two European countries and at least two Latin American countries. Participants from Türkiye that will take part in the consortia will submit their national applications to TÜBİTAK via https://uidb-pbs.tubitak.gov.tr/. Project proposals to be submitted from Türkiye within the scope of this call will be supported within the scope of TÜBİTAK 1071 Support Programme for Increasing the Capacity to Benefit from International Research Funds and Participation in International R&D Collaborations. In case of non-compliance with the application rules, the application may be returned without being evaluated, so it is necessary to examine the national application rules in detail before applying. EU-LAC İlgi Grubu, iki bölgeli bilim, teknoloji ve inovasyon alanında iş birliği yapmak isteyen AB Üye Devletleri, Asosiye Ülkeleri ile Latin Amerika ve Karayipler bölgesindeki ülkelerde fon sağlayan kuruluşlardan oluşan bir gruptur.

EU-LAC 5. Ortak Çağrısının amacı; Avrupa, Latin Amerika ve Karayip ülkelerinden araştırmacılar arasında sürdürülebilir ve çok taraflı araştırma iş birliğini başlatmak, araştırma ve yenilik alanında ulus ötesi çağrılar sunarak AB Üye Devletleri, Asosiye Ülkeler ile Latin Amerika ve Karayipler bölgesindeki ülkeler arasında uzun vadeli iş birliği oluşturmaktır. Bu doğrultuda, EU-LAC İlgi Grubu 24 Şubat 2025 tarihinde 5. Ortak Çağrısını başvurulara açacaktır.

Söz konusu çağrı kapsamında araştırmacıların, 

- Açık Bilim,

- Biyoekonomi (Biyoekonomi, Doğa Tabanlı Çözümler),

- Enerji (Enerji geçişi),

- Küresel Zorluklar (Biyoçeşitlilik, Gıda Güvenliği, Tarım),

- Sağlık (Küresel Sağlık, Bulaşıcı Hastalıklar)

tematik alanlarında birlikte geliştireceği projeler desteklenecektir.

Uluslararası çağrı kuralları gereği çağrıya başvuracak proje konsorsiyumlarının en az dört farklı ülkeden araştırmacıları içermesi gerekmektedir. Her konsorsiyumda, en az iki Avrupa ülkesi ve en az iki Latin Amerika ülkesi yer almalıdır. Konsorsiyumlarda Türkiye’den yer alacak ekipler, ulusal başvurularını https://uidb-pbs.tubitak.gov.tr/ adresi üzerinden TÜBİTAK’a yapacaklardır. Söz konusu çağrı kapsamında ülkemizden sunulacak proje önerileri, TÜBİTAK 1071 Uluslararası Araştırma Fonlarından Yararlanma Kapasitesinin ve Uluslararası Ar-Ge İşbirliklerine Katılımın Artırılmasına Yönelik Destek Programı kapsamında desteklenecektir. Başvuru kurallarına uyulmaması durumunda başvurunun değerlendirmeye alınmadan iade edilmesi söz konusu olduğundan, başvuru öncesinde ulusal başvuru kurallarının detaylı bir şekilde incelenmesi gerekmektedir. Uluslararası Çocuk Bilim Yarışması

ULUSLARARASI ÇOCUK BİLİM YARIŞMASI

Uluslararası Çocuk Bilim Yarışması, öğrencilerin bilim, teknoloji, mühendislik ve matematik (STEM) alanlarına olan ilgisini artırmak ve bu alanlarda yaratıcı düşünme, problem çözme, yenilikçilik becerilerini geliştirmek ve bilgilerini deneyime dönüştürmeyi hedeflemektedir.

Diğer önemli amacı da öğrencilerin kişisel gelişimlerine, toplumun gereksinimlerine, teknolojik gelişmelere ve dünyamızın sürdürülebilir olabilmesi için sosyal, ekonomik ve çevre açılarından dengeli kalkınmamıza yönelik özgün değer taşıyan fikirlerin hayata geçirilmesini sağlamaktır.

The International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) that Türkiye has been a member since 1989, provides financial support to researchers conducting research and development activities in the fields of basic life sciences, health services, industrial and agricultural biotechnology and bioenergy.

Who Can Apply?

CRP

All researchers working in a university or research institute any ICGEB Member State, including Türkiye, and working in the fields of basic life sciences, health services, industrial and agricultural biotechnology and bioenergy can apply to the programme.

CRP Special Programme: Early Career Return Grants 

Young scientists working at a university or research institute in Türkiye, who are not over 40 years old, have done research abroad for at least 2 years, and who’s return date back to Türkiye is not more than 2 years from the date of application, can apply to the programme.

Scope of Grant 

Budget: Maximum 25.000 Euro / Year

Duration: Maximum 36 Months

Important Note

In order to provide equal opportunity for applications from ICGEB member countries, the number of applications to be made from each member country has been determined as a maximum of 3 for the CRP and a maximum of 2 for the CRP Special Programme. In case these numbers are exceeded, the applications received are subject to a preliminary evaluation process by TÜBİTAK. In this process, TÜBİTAK will send the applications to external consultants who are experts in their fields according to the scientific evaluation criteria determined by ICGEB for preliminary evaluations of the ICGEB CRP and the CRP Special Programme. The applications which received the highest scores as a result of the preliminary evaluation process will be considered. In this scope, the first 3 of the applications made for the standard CRP and the first 2 of the applications made for the CRP Special Programme will be sent to the ICGEB CRP Office by the Türkiye ICGEB Liaison Officer, along with the "Endorsement" forms.

Kimler Başvurabilir?

CRP 

Programa, Türkiye’nin de yer aldığı, ICGEB üye ülkelerinden birinde bir üniversite veya araştırma enstitüsünde çalışmakta olan, temel yaşam bilimleri, sağlık hizmetleri, endüstriyel ve zirai biyoteknoloji ve biyoenerji alanlarında faaliyet gösteren tüm araştırmacılar başvuru yapabilir.

CRP Özel Programı: Erken Kariyer Geri Dönüş Programı

Genç araştırmacılara destek veren programa, 40 yaşını aşmamış, en az 2 yıl yurtdışında araştırma yapmış ve başvurunun yapıldığı tarihte Türkiye’ye dönüşü 2 yılı geçmemiş Türkiye’de bir üniversite veya araştırma enstitüsünde çalışmakta olan genç bilim insanları başvuru yapabilir.

Süre: En fazla 36 Ay

Önemli Bilgi

ICGEB üye ülkelerinden gelen başvurulara fırsat eşitliği sağlamak amacıyla, her üye ülkeden yapılacak başvuru sayısı CRP için en fazla 3, CRP Özel Programı için ise en fazla 2 başvuru olarak belirlemiştir. Bu sayıların aşılması durumunda, alınan başvurular TÜBİTAK tarafından ön değerlendirme sürecine tabi tutulmaktadır. Bu süreçte TÜBİTAK, başvuruları CRP ve CRP Özel Programı ön değerlendirmesi için ICGEB tarafından belirlenen bilimsel değerlendirme kriterlerine göre konularında uzman dış danışmanlara gönderecektir. Ön değerlendirme sonucunda oluşturulan listede en yüksek puanı alan başvurular değerlendirmeye alınacaktır. Bu kapsamda, CRP için yapılan başvurulardan ilk 3’ü, CRP Özel Programı için yapılan başvurulardan ise ilk 2’si, Türkiye’den yapılan başvurular olarak, Türkiye ICGEB Liaison Officer’ı tarafından, “Endorsement” formları ile birlikte ICGEB CRP Ofisi’ne gönderilecektir.

As part of the human capital development component of the National Technology Initiative, 4006-TÜBİTAK Science Fairs Support Programme aims to contribute to our country's progress in science and technology, and within this scope, the evaluation process for applications submitted to the 11th term 4006-A and 4006-B calls has been completed.

A total of 142.455 project applications were submitted by 9.635 schools, based on 63 thematic topics and 12 main areas outlined in the call texts, aligning with the priority fields of the science, technology and innovation ecosystem. 

To enhance the quality of the projects, all applications underwent a similarity check. As a result, 109.010 projects from 7.225 schools advanced to the scientific evaluation stage, where they were reviewed by 1.054 external consultants (academics and experts).

Following the scientific evaluation process, 58,775 projects, prepared by thousands of middle and high school students from 3,670 schools across 81 provinces, have been deemed eligible for support.

We congratulate our young scientists and wish them to make significant contributions to our country and humanity through their scientific projects, both today and in the future. We also sincerely thank all the teachers and students who contributed during the application process.

Milli Teknoloji Hamlesinin ana bileşenlerinden biri olan beşeri sermaye gelişimi kapsamında ülkemizin bilim ve teknoloji alanındaki kararlı ilerleyişine katkı sunmayı hedefleyen 4006-TÜBİTAK Bilim Fuarları Destekleme Programının 11. dönem 4006-A ve 4006-B çağrılarına yapılan başvuruların değerlendirme süreci tamamlandı.

11. Bilim Fuarları kapsamında, çağrı metinlerinde bilim, teknoloji ve yenilik ekosisteminin öncelikli alanlarına uygun olarak belirlenen 63 tematik konu ve 12 ana alan çerçevesinde, 9.635 okul tarafından toplam 142.455 proje başvurusu yapıldı.

Proje niteliğini artırmak amacıyla tüm başvurular benzerlik sorgulamasına tabi tutuldu. Bu süreç sonunda, 7.225 okuldan 109.010 proje değerlendirme aşamasına geçmeye hak kazandı ve toplam 1.054 dış danışman (akademisyen ve uzman) tarafından değerlendirildi.

Değerlendirme süreci sonucunda, 81 ilimizde bulunan 3.670 okulumuzdan binlerce ortaokul ve lise öğrencimizin hazırlamış olduğu 58.775 proje desteklenmeye hak kazandı. 

Genç bilim insanlarımızı tebrik ediyor, bilimsel projeleriyle hem bugün hem de gelecekte ülkemize ve insanlığa değerli katkılar sunmalarını diliyoruz. Başvuru sürecinde emek veren tüm öğretmen ve öğrencilere teşekkür ederiz.

TÜBİTAK Science Fairs Support Programme has been launched and the first call was published in 2013. This program aims to accelerate the dissemination of scientific culture therefore supports the secondary and high schools to organize Science Fairs in their schools.  The Ministry of National Education and TÜBİTAK signed a protocol in 2015 for activities to promote the development of the science culture of students at secondary and high schools. The main purpose of this programme is to raise awareness about research techniques, reporting, and presentation skills among 5th-12th grade students, and to encourage them to carry out scientific studies and contribute to the development of their scientific approach skills.

Bilim ve Toplum Başkanlığı (BİTO) tarafından yürütülen 4006-TÜBİTAK Bilim Fuarları Destekleme Programının 11. Dönem 4006-A ve 4006-B çağrılarının başvuru süresi uzatılmıştır.

Programa başvurular http://bilimiz.tubitak.gov.tr adresi üzerinden çevrim içi olarak alınmakta olup başvuruların tamamlanması için son tarih 2 Aralık 2024 (17.30) olarak belirlenmiştir.
